The latest Global Residential Cities Index confirms that 79% of cities saw prices increase in 2018, down from 87% in 2017. Budapest leads the rankings registering 23% growth in 2018, whilst Hong Kong lost ground, falling 36 rankings in the final quarter of 2018. Latin American cities represent a pocket of growth with Bogota, Santiago, Mexico City and Lima all recording annual growth above 6% in 2018.
